2024 Amber Waves of Grain Beer Festival: A Toast to Veterans!

by | Nov 1, 2024

Get ready to raise your glasses and toast to a worthy cause at the 9th Annual Amber Waves of Grain Craft Beer Festival on November 2 in Corona, California. This event is not just about enjoying some of the finest craft beers around; it’s also about supporting our veterans. So, mark your calendars because this festival promises a day filled with fun, flavors, and festivities—all while contributing to a noble cause.

Location and Date

The festival will take place at The Shops at Dos Lagos, located at 2780 Cabot Drive in Corona. The event kicks off at noon and runs until 4:30 PM. So, whether you’re a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a good time with friends and family, this is the place to be.

A Brew-tiful Cause

What sets the Amber Waves of Grain Craft Beer Festival apart from other beer festivals is its mission. All net proceeds from the event go directly to nonprofit organizations that support veterans. Over the years, this festival has raised over $200,000 for over 50 veteran-focused nonprofits over the years. This means that every sip you take helps make a difference in the lives of those who have served our country.

What to Expect

Here’s a taste of what awaits you at this year’s festival:

  • Unlimited Tastings: For just $45 in advance (or $50 on the day), attendees can enjoy unlimited tastings from over 40 craft breweries. You’ll also receive a commemorative festival pint glass to take home.
  • Home Brew Clubs: Six homebrew clubs will showcase their best ales and lagers, allowing you to discover new flavors and perhaps even inspire your own brewing adventures.
  • Military Parade: The day begins with a military-style parade featuring WWII veterans and historical reenactment groups. It’s a moving tribute that sets the tone for the day’s celebrations.
  • Live Music and Classic Cars: Groove to live music while admiring an impressive display of classic cars. This festival has a vibrant atmosphere that makes it a must-attend event.
  • Food Trucks and Vendors: Satisfy your hunger with delicious offerings from various food trucks. Plus, explore unique products from talented vendors selling their best goods.
  • Family-Friendly Fun: The beer garden is for those aged 21 and over, but the festival is family-friendly. Kids under 16 get in free (with adult supervision), making it an enjoyable outing for everyone.
